Football Recap: Aubrina Adamik and Lyla Ginczycki Secure Win for Huntley

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Huntley). They came out on top against the McHenry Warriors by a score of 27-20 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Red Raiders with their most commanding win of the season.

A big part of Huntley's victory came down to the chemistry between Lyla Ginczycki and her top target Aubrina Adamik. Ginczycki threw for 303 yards and four TDs while Adamik picked up 136 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Adamik showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 54 yards. Evelyn Freundt also helped out as she racked up 100 receiving yards.

Huntley now has a winning record of 3-2. As for McHenry, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Huntley has already played their next contest, a 31-6 win against Hampshire on the 11th. McHenry has also already played their next game (against Crystal Lake Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
