Soccer Recap: Mountain Home Comes Up Short

Mountain Home lost against Russellville back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bombers came up short against the Cyclones, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Mountain Home can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while Russellville are ranked second).

Mountain Home has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-3 record this season. As for Russellville, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-0.

Coincidentally, Mountain Home and Russellville will both be playing Siloam Springs the next time they take the pitch. The Bombers will host the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cyclones will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
