Volleyball Recap: Sterling's Win Ends Eight-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Sterling won the last time they faced Camden Academy Charter and things went their way on Thursday too. The Silver Knights came out on top against Camden Academy Charter by a score of 2-0. That looming 2-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Silver Knights yet this season.

Sterling never let Camden Academy Charter on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16.

Will Stubbs - Class Of 2026 paced Sterling's offense, picking up ten kills. Stubbs - Class Of 2026 got some help from Davis Holloway and his 16 assists.

Sterling's win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3. As for Camden Academy Charter, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sterling will challenge Cinnaminson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Camden Academy Charter, they will face off against LEAP Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
