Baseball Recap: Estacado Takes a Loss

Estacado was the 11-1 winner over Snyder when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Matadors took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Tuesday. The Matadors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Estacado's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13-1. As for Snyder, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Estacado will welcome Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Snyder, they will face off against Lake View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chiefs/Maidens will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
