Miller School of Albemarle lost to Christchurch School back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks claimed a resounding 62-32 win over the Christchurch School Seahorses. The Mavericks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 30 points or more this season.

Miller School of Albemarle's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ella Jackson, who went 6 of 15 en route to 16 points and four steals. What's more, Jackson also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Anna Smith, who went 5 for 10 on her way to 12 points in addition to seven boards and five steals.

Miller School of Albemarle smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in three consecutive contests.

Miller School of Albemarle's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Christchurch School, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
