Pittsburg came tearing into Friday's game with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Colebrook Academy Mohawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 back in April.

Pittsburg's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Colebrook Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7.
