Volleyball Recap: Cocoa Beach Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cocoa Beach was the 3-0 winner over West Shore when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Minutemen came up short against the Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Minutemen have suffered against the Wildcats since September 26, 2018.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-7, 25-12.

Kate Monseliu paced Cocoa Beach's offense, picking up four kills. Monseliu got some help from Tayber Diffenthal and her six assists. Monseliu was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Cocoa Beach's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Shore, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cocoa Beach will host Edgewood at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Shore, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Melbourne at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
