Boylan Catholic's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Guilford Vikings. This was a revenge game for the Titans: when they faced off against the Vikings two weeks ago, they had to take a 8-4 loss.

Gabby Acuna was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. Elizabeth Mroz was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Boylan Catholic's record now sits at 6-11. As for Guilford, they dropped their record down to 9-10 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boylan Catholic will face off against Hononegah at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Guilford, they will challenge Belvidere at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Buccaneers have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
