Basketball Recap: Fisher Catholic Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, the Fisher Catholic Irish didn't have quite enough to beat the Northmor Golden Knights and fell 53-50.

Leading Northmor to victory were Trevor Brubaker and Jax Wenger. Brubaker to rack up 14 points and five assists, while Wenger posted nine points and six boards. Wenger is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last 11 games he's played. Trevor Black was another key player, putting up seven points.

Fisher Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-7 record this season. Northmor has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Fisher Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-41 win against Danville on the 20th. As for Northmor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 55-53 victory against Wynford on the 15th.
