Softball Recap: Jay Comes Up Short

Jay lost against South San Antonio on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs came up short against the Bobcats, falling 16-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jay saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jennifer Galindo, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Jay's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for South San Antonio, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Jay will host MacArthur at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South San Antonio, they will challenge Southside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
