Basketball Recap: North Marion Takes a Loss

North Marion suffered their closest defeat since December 31, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Hampshire Trojans by a score of 50-48. If the Huskies were looking for revenge after losing 52-41 to them when the teams met back in April of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Marion's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Hampshire, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Coming up, North Marion will venture away from home to square off against Weir at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hampshire, they will host Robert C. Byrd at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
