South Brunswick entered their tilt with South Columbus on Thursday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They blew past the Stallions 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

South Brunswick never let South Columbus on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-23.

South Brunswick can attribute much of their success to Gabrielle McCullough, who had six digs and three aces. That's the most digs McCullough has posted since back in September. Alexa McMichael also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

South Brunswick's record is now 13-4. As for South Columbus, they moved to 10-10 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

South Brunswick wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Ashley on the 6th. As for South Columbus, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against West Bladen on the 7th.
