Baseball Recap: West Fork Victorious

West Fork got themselves on the board against El Campo on Saturday, but El Campo never followed suit. They came out on top against the Ricebirds by a score of 5-0. Five seems to be a good number for the Gators as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The victory got West Fork back to even at 11-11. As for El Campo, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7.

Coming up, West Fork will challenge Kingwood Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for El Campo, they will square off against Needville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bluejays will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Ricebirds surely won't give up without a fight.
