Football Recap: South Prairie/Max Takes a Loss

South Prairie/Max was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 33-6 loss at the hands of the Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers. South Prairie/Max was not able to make up for their defeat to Des Lacs-Burlington from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

South Prairie/Max's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Des Lacs-Burlington, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, South Prairie/Max will challenge Bottineau on Friday. The Braves/Stars' defense has only allowed 10.8 points per game this season, so South Prairie/Max's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Des Lacs-Burlington, they will square off against Velva/Garrison/Drake/Anamoose on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Lakers 5, Velva/Garrison/Drake/Anamoose 7) so any points scored will be well earned.
