Recap: Edmonds-Woodway Warriors vs. Monroe Bearcats
The Edmonds-Woodway Warriors lost against the Monroe Bearcats back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Edmonds-Woodway fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 54-51.
Edmonds-Woodway lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Luke Boland, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Dj Karl, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Edmonds-Woodway's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Monroe, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edmonds-Woodway will challenge the Scots at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monroe, they will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Arlington knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 games -- so hopefully the Bearcats likes a good challenge.
