Softball Recap: Hollis-Brookline Takes a Loss

Hollis-Brookline fell victim to ConVal and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 16-0 to the Cougars. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Cavaliers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hollis-Brookline now has a losing record of 3-4. As for ConVal, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hollis-Brookline will face off against rival Souhegan at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, ConVal is set to square off against their familiar foe Hanover at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
