Volleyball Recap: Westfall Takes a Loss

Westfall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Chillicothe Cavaliers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-8, 25-14.

Westfall's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Chillicothe, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westfall will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ross County Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Chillicothe, they will take on Patriot Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
