Papillion-LaVista and Gretna are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Monarchs will take on the Dragons in a tournament on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

The Monarchs never let the Chieftains get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Thursday. The Monarchs haven't had any issues with the Chieftains recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Landyn Albrecht made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over seven innings pitched.
