Baseball Recap: Central Valley Christian Takes a Loss

Central Valley Christian blew Exeter out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Exeter got their revenge. The Cavaliers fell just short of the Monarchs by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cavaliers have suffered since February 26th.

Central Valley Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Teague Brandenburg, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Landen Ritchie was another, going 1-for-2 with two runs.

Central Valley Christian now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Exeter, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Central Valley Christian beat the Monarchs by a score of 6-3 on Saturday.
