Fulton's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 43-38 W over the Carter Green Hornets. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Green Hornets back in January, they had to take a 54-41 loss.

Carter's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lexi Tipton, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 11 boards. Tipton has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Marah Yeo was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Fulton's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Carter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season.

Fulton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-25 loss against Northview Academy on the 12th. As for Carter, they have also already played their next contest, a 56-45 defeat against South-Doyle on the 11th.
