Basketball Recap: Rimrock Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Rimrock, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They secured a 57-52 W over the Camas County Mushers on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-33 back in December of 2024.

Camas County's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Clancy Rablin, who went 9 of 15 to rack up 21 points and seven rebounds. That's the most points Rablin has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Quinn Palan, who put up 14 points and five boards.

Rimrock pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Camas County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Coming up, Rimrock will head out on the road to challenge North Star at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in North Star's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Camas County, they will host Mackay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mackay will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Camas County surely won't give up without a fight.
