Softball Recap: Minneapolis Comes Up Short

Minneapolis fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Concordia on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-3 to the Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Lions who fell 5-3 when the teams previously met back in April of 2024.

Minneapolis' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Concordia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Minneapolis will welcome Ellinwood at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Concordia, they will venture away from home to face off against Marysville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
