Volleyball Recap: Suwannee Takes a Loss

Suwannee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Astronaut War Eagles.

CaLinn Daniel paced Suwannee's offense, picking up five kills. Daniel got some help from Avery Music and her five assists. Daniel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Suwannee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Astronaut, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Suwannee and Astronaut will both be playing Vanguard the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Knights at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the War Eagles will play them later in the day, at 3:30 p.m.
