Soccer Recap: Scotland Takes a Loss

Scotland lost against Richmond back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Scotland lost 9-0 to Richmond. That's two games in a row now that Scotland have lost by exactly nine goals.

Scotland's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Richmond, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6-1.

Looking ahead, Scotland will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Hoke County at 6:00 p.m. As for Richmond, they will head out on the road to take on Lumberton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Richmond is facing Lumberton at the right time seeing as Lumberton is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
