Basketball Recap: Bastrop Comes Up Short

Bastrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin Raptors, falling 80-38. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-52 back in December of 2024.

Bastrop's loss dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-14 record this season.

Bastrop will host Crockett at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bastrop is facing Crockett at the right time seeing as Crockett is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin, they will head out on the road to square off against Navarro at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
