Volleyball Recap: Southside's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

Southside managed to slip by Greene Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Seahawks lost 3-0 to the Rams on Tuesday. The loss put an end to the Seahawks' undefeated start to the season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-6, 25-16.

Madilynn Moore paced Southside's offense, picking up six kills. Moore got some help from Annalynn Silverthorne and her six assists. Moore also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Emily Mondragon, racking up two apiece.

Having lost for the first time this season, Southside fell to 3-1. As for Greene Central, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Southside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Martin County on the 21st. As for Greene Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against North Pitt on the 20th.
