Basketball Game Recap: Fayetteville Lions vs. Flatonia Bulldogs

The Fayetteville Lions lost against the Flatonia Bulldogs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Fayetteville's rough 45-23 loss to Flatonia might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Fayetteville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 987th, while Flatonia is ranked 350th).

This is the second loss in a row for Fayetteville and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Flatonia, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fayetteville will take on North Zulch at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flatonia is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Bloomington at 5:30 p.m. on December 5th.
