Basketball Game Preview: Scarborough Red Storm vs. Bangor Rams

The Scarborough Red Storm will face off against the Bangor Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Scarborough is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell just short of Windham by a score of 73-70 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Red Storm can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Eagles are ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, Bangor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hampden.

Scarborough has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Bangor, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
