Washington is 4-0 against North Posey since September of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Washington Hatchets will look to defend their home pitch against the North Posey Vikings at 11:00 a.m. Washington is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

On Thursday, Washington made easy work of Boonville and carried off a 7-2 win. The Hatchets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Posey). They blew past Pike Central 4-1 last Thursday. With the Vikings ahead 3-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

They hit Pike Central with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Henry Martin, Trey Buecher, and Ethan Ashby.

Washington pushed their record up to 9-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for North Posey, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5.
