It was a good run, but Warren Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Trojans when the teams met back in August of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Warren Central ultimately came up short, they really made Northeast Lauderdale work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-20.

Warren Central now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Northeast Lauderdale, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-10.
