Volleyball Recap: Brooke Springer and Ady Henry Secure Win for Rossville

Rossville won the last time they faced St. Marys and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Bears by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Rossville not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept St. Marys between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17.

Rossville was led to victory by Ady Henry and Brooke Springer. Henry had seven digs and two aces, while Springer had seven digs and one assist. That's the most digs Springer has posted over her last 11 matches. Karleigh Frost also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Rossville's win bumped their record up to 20-10. As for St. Marys, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 18 of their last 19 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-32 record this season.

Coincidentally, Rossville and St. Marys will both be playing Nemaha Central the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Thunder at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
