Softball Preview: Lincoln Trojans vs. Wakulla War Eagles

The Lincoln Trojans will head out on the road to take on the Wakulla War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.

Last Tuesday, Lincoln had just enough and edged Aucilla Christian out 6-5.

Lanie Woodson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, a triple, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Hernandez, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI.

Meanwhile, Wakulla came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.2 runs) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Seminoles as they made off with a 10-0 win. Give Wakulla's pitching crew some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.
