Soccer Recap: Mesa Verde's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

On Tuesday, the Mesa Verde Mavericks came up short against the Highlands Scots and fell 3-1. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Yahir Sanchez, who's now up to 26 this season.

Mesa Verde's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5-2. As for Highlands, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mesa Verde will face off against Rio Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Highlands, they will take on Vacaville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
