Softball Recap: Fort Frye Cadets vs. Shenandoah Zeps

Fort Frye scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past the Shenandoah Zeps 14-3. Considering Fort Frye has won three games by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Ella Dowler made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Dowler was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

In other batting news, Fort Frye let Jayden Brown and Lexie Handschumacher loose on the outfield. Brown scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4, while Handschumacher scored three runs and stole three bases. Another player making a difference was Jaden Cox, who scored two runs.
