Softball Recap: Brennan Bears vs. Taft Raiders

After flying high against Stevens last Saturday, Brennan came back down to earth. The Bears fell just short of the Taft Raiders by a score of 8-6 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bears have suffered since February 14th.

Brennan got a good showing from Bryannah Campos, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off four hits. Campos has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Christen Brinkman was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Farrah Lemus, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
