Volleyball Recap: Pecos Find Success

Pecos's tournament run continued when they took on Tahoka on Saturday. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bulldogs.

Pecos can attribute much of their success to Carriz Hernandez, who had 12 digs and three aces. Those 12 digs gave Hernandez a new career-high. Fehaira Aguirre also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Pecos' win bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Tahoka, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.

Pecos has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Levelland on the 30th. As for Tahoka, they will square off against Talkington School for Young Women Leaders at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
