Candor strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Groton Red Hawks with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Candor not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Groton between 18 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-21.

Nicola Soper paced Candor's offense, picking up 19 kills. Soper got some help from Malley Heidl and her 29 assists. Soper was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Candor's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Groton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Candor has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Union Springs on the 17th. Groton has also already played their next contest (against Bainbridge-Guilford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
