Soccer Recap: Howland Comes Up Short

Howland entered their matchup against Canfield on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tigers fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Canfield this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on September 10th.

Howland's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-2. As for Canfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Howland didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Harding on the 1st. As for Canfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Austintown-Fitch on the 1st.
