It was a Battle of the Birds when Northwood Temple Academy challenged The O'Neal School on Tuesday. The Northwood Temple Academy Eagles blew past The O'Neal School Falcons, posting an 85-52 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Northwood Temple Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenny Vera out in front who shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Winston Waite, who went 8 of 16 on his way to 17 points and six steals.
