Rye is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Del Norte get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Friday. Averi Velez was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, James Irwin and Banning Lewis Academy combined for 28 shots on goal on Thursday, which explains the impressive 14 total goals scored. The Jaguars put the hurt on the Stallions with a sharp 12-2 win. Considering James Irwin have won four matchups by more than nine goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

James Irwin now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Rye, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-5-1.

Everything went Rye's way against James Irwin when the teams last played back in April of 2022, as Rye made off with a 6-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunderbolts since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
