Football Recap: Harpeth Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Harpeth played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 41-10 loss at the hands of the Sycamore War Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Indians have suffered against the War Eagles since October 27, 2017.

Maddox Wilson threw for 77 yards on nine of 16 attempts. Jayden Stromatt was his top target, picking up 68 receiving yards.

It was another big night for Hicks Hunter, who rushed for 239 yards and three scores while picking up 10.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 73 receiving yards and one TD for Sycamore.all of that, receiving production came thanks to one massive catch Another player making a difference was Cody Scalf, who threw for 233 yards and three touchdowns.

Harpeth's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Sycamore, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harpeth will take on Stewart County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will be up against the Rebels' rather soft defense (which has allowed 47.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Sycamore, they will face off against Fairview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
