Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe kept up with Fannin County until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Rebels' defense stepped up to hand the Warriors a 3-0 shutout. Considering Fannin County have won four games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Fannin County pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four matches. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Fannin County will host Christian Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they will head out on the road to take on LaFayette at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe are facing LaFayette at the right time seeing as LaFayette are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
