Basketball Recap: Arcanum Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Arcanum had won three straight games and Cameron Ball did his part to make it four on Saturday. The Trojans came out on top against the Cedarville Indians by a score of 44-31 for which the team can thank Ball, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 13 boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 9 rebounds per game.

Another player making a difference was Jace Mote, who posted ten points. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

Arcanum's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Cedarville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Arcanum will venture away from home to challenge Preble Shawnee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cedarville, they will head out to take on Triad at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Indians their first taste of in-conference action this season.
