Cayuga is a perfect 10-0 against Cross Roads since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Cayuga Wildcats face off against Cross Roads Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Cayuga's offense. They fell just short of Mildred by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday.

Cayuga saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Micah Redwine, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Cross Roads fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Kerens last Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 6-2 to Kerens. It was the first time this season that Cross Roads let down their fans at home.

This is the second loss in a row for Cross Roads and nudges their season record down to 6-4. As for Cayuga, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-4.

Cayuga took their victory against Cross Roads when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 11-2. Will Cayuga repeat their success, or does Cross Roads has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
