Volleyball Recap: Riverton Comes Up Short

Riverton's tournament run continued when they took on Rapid City Central on Saturday. The Wolverines took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cobblers.

Lawson Yeates paced Riverton's offense, picking up nine kills. Yeates got some help from Halli Weber and her six assists.

Riverton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Rapid City Central, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverton will host Lander Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rapid City Central, they will be playing at home against Belle Fourche at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
