Soccer Game Preview: Durant vs. Noble

The Durant Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Noble Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Durant was handed a three-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene last Friday. They never let Summit Christian Academy get on the board and left with a 1-0 win.

Meanwhile, Noble waltzed into their game last Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over the Eagles. That looming 10-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bears yet this season.

Noble's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three contests. As for Durant, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.

Durant came out on top in a nail-biter against Noble when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Does Durant have another victory up their sleeve, or will Noble turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
