Basketball Game Preview: Richland Raiders vs. Wayne County Wildcats

The Richland Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the Wayne County Wildcats on Monday.

Last Thursday, Richland came up short against Santa Fe and fell 52-45. The Raiders have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Meanwhile, Wayne County had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They walked away with a 70-61 win over the Warriors.

Wayne County's victory bumped their record up to 25-8. As for Richland, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-9.

Richland beat Wayne County 53-41 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Richland since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
