Basketball Recap: Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Comes Up Short

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe was the 65-57 winner over Murray County when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors took a hard 62-44 fall against the Murray County Indians on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 279th, while the Indians are ranked 21st).

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Murray County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe will head out on the road to square off against North Murray at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Murray County, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Ringgold at 3:00 p.m.
