Volleyball Game Preview: Atlas Preparatory School Gryphons vs. Colorado Springs Christian Lions

The Atlas Preparatory School Gryphons will head out to challenge the Colorado Springs Christian Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Last Friday, Atlas Preparatory School came up short against Fountain Valley and fell 3-1. While the Gryphons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Danes 25-18 in the first set.

Atlas Preparatory School started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-18.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Colorado Springs Christian took on James Irwin on Tuesday. The Lions put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 3-0 win. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-11.

Atlas Preparatory School's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Colorado Springs Christian, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
