Basketball Recap: Nederland Takes a Loss

Nederland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 67-31 loss at the hands of the West Brook Bruins. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1087th, while the Bruins are ranked 183rd).

Nederland's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for West Brook, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-7.

Nederland will host Sterling at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nederland is facing Sterling at the right time seeing as Sterling is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for West Brook, they are taking a road trip to take on Lee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in West Brook's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
